I am the Curriculum Director for HONDA. I taught reading for 14 years and decided to return to college and obtain my master's degree in Instructional Technology. My goals and aspirations are to bring technology into Special Education classrooms and to help teachers with new and innovative ideas with their curriculum. HONDA is an acronym for Hale Center, Olton, New Deal, Abernathy and Shallowater. HONDA has a SHARED SERVICE ARRANGEMENT with these five school districts. I have been the Curriculum Director for HONDA for four years and I absolutely love it. You never know what you are going to encounter on a daily basis, which keeps it exciting! I work with Special Education teachers from all five districts and help and assist with TAKS, Plato, Achieve Now, the HONDA WEBSITE, and DINAH ZIKE Foldables(tm) and believe it or not...a multitude of other things.
