The Texas Education Agency issues Financial "Report Cards" to school districts in the state of Texas in August each year. The score is based on critical elements of school finance. The score is referred to as the School FIRST Rating or the FINANCIAL INTEGRITY RATING SYSTEM OF TEXAS.
