Student Accelerated and Integrated Learning Program provides for identification of students with gifted abilities. Students participating in the program are involved in activities to enrich and enhance their educational experience.

Shallowater ISD provides a wide range of programs for students with disabilities for ages 3 through 22.
We are a part of a Special Education Cooperative, H.O.N.D.A., with four other districts. This arrangement allows us to share resources and expertise among the five districts.

Students with specific reading difficulties are provided assistance through the dyslexia program. Each student's educational program is designed to meet his/her individual needs.
